What I mean by microbiology?
There are more microbial cells in your body than your own
cell, Microbes are found everywhere: in and on your body, in stream and rocks,
on your smart phone screen and in your food. Despite their bad reputation,
microbes are mostly beneficial or have a neutral effect on our life. Microbiology is the scientific study of microbes. Microorganisms are those organisms that are too small to see with naked eye and include things like bacteria, fungi and viruses. Microbiologist study
these organisms using tools like microscope, genetics and culturing. Microscope
allows to magnify microbial cell that can too small to seen.Genetic and molecular biology help to scientist understand the evolutionary relationship between microbes and their habitats.
