What I mean by Microbiology?

Microbiology is an continuation of study in microbial world. It is the study of living organisms of microscopic size, which include bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, and the infectious agents at the borderline of life that are called viruses.It has Greek roots. The word, Microbiology derived from three Greek words. First is 'Mikros' which means small. Second is 'Bios'which means life, and third is 'Logos' which means to study. Microbiology means study of small living organisms which can not be observed by naked eye. This field is beyond of our visual limits. What we can not see with naked eye, we study it with using different types of microscopes. It is like a huge tree which contains many branches like medical microbiology, agriculture microbiology, virology, protozoology, bacteriology, immunology, environmental microbiology and many more. It has tremendous and bright scope for the Students, who pursuing their career as a microbiologist. Thus, microbiology is the essential field of science.
